Prayer Resources
Prayer is conversation with God. While our prayer lives are as individual as each of us, Christian tradition provides many helpful ways to approach this conversation.
The Daily Office
An excellent way to familiarize yourself with the Bible and spend time in reflection and prayer. The complete office consists of four services with readings from the Old and New Testaments, and the psalms. Includes prayers for the individual, the church, the world, and for God's guidance. Morning and Evening Prayer follow a two year cycle of readings in which the majority of the Bible is read. Many people choose one or two of the offices and commit to saying them regularly as a spiritual practice. The services can be found in the Book of Common Prayer.
