  • a day-long women's retreat on "Writing Your Spiritual Autobiography;"
  • an exploration of the Grinch for parishioners of all ages;
  • a talk by a visiting author on National Register sites (including All Saints') in our area;
  • The Gospel According to the Simpsons;

  • Adult Forums for adults and teens interested in learning more about our Anglican tradition, these have been scheduled after worship on Sundays and led by Father Tim. Topics and dates have included History of the Anglican Church, An Introduction to the Prayer Book, The Church Seasons, What is "Anglican theology?" and A tour of the Sacristy and an overview of All Saints' history.
  • talks by representatives of other faiths

"For me it is important that faith not be either an intellectual exercise or a group head-nod session conducted on Sunday mornings. Many times I find the application of faith to a twenty-first century life to be very tricky, because of the wide gap between the "settings" (the Biblical versus the modern way of life), as well as all the apparently contradictory information.  Questioning, examining, debating and sharing with a group of committed, intelligent and generous people time and again widens my understanding.  I find the process invigorating, and it is very exciting when I suddenly "get" something that I was unable to see before." -- Fiona Hodgson

Fiona Hodgson lives with her partner, Lisa, and daughter, MacKenzie, in Sleepy Hollow. Fiona is thrilled to be part of All Saints' and serves as Outreach chair, reader, chalicist and coffee hour caterer.    Fiona and Lisa's commitment was celebrated at All Saints' in September 2004.
